A long table laid between the vineyard rows, fairy lights strung above, candles flickering on wood and linen. Dinner in the Vines at Penhill is summer in the Nuy Valley at its most romantic. Mountains fade into dusk, crickets take over from birdsong and you linger over course after course with people you love.
This is one of Penhill’s most intimate experiences, created for a small gathering of guests who want an evening that feels both effortless and unforgettable.
A summer night to remember
Arrive in the late afternoon and settle into your cottage or suite before wandering down to the vines.
Your evening unfolds gently:
A welcome drink as the sun drops behind the hills
A long table set between the vineyard rows, dressed with flowers, glassware and candlelight
A seasonal menu prepared by our kitchen team, paired with wines from the valley
Live entertainment that stays in the background while conversation takes centre stage
Time to sit, talk and watch the stars appear above the vines
After dinner you stroll back to your accommodation for a peaceful night on the farm, followed by breakfast the next morning.
Maximum 24 guests per date keeps the atmosphere relaxed and personal.
